Post-Flood Relief in Timor-Leste
Heavy rainfall in the spring of 2021 caused severe flooding in Timor-Leste. With the support of HungaryHelps and our local partner Fundasaun Bethesda Timor-Leste, we distributed food and hygiene kits, medicine, vitamins and nutritional supplements to people affected by the disaster. We also ran a crisis hotline in order to assess relief needs.
HIA aid included building materials and household items (water filters, bedding, kitchen utensils, cutlery, large buckets and jerry cans) to those in need.
In total, we were able to help 265 families, reaching a total of 985 people.
