Fundraising for the victims of the Beirut explosion

On 4th August a huge explosion shook the Lebanese capital. The detonation damaged or totally destroyed lot of homes, school buildings, churches and healthcare institutions. To help the harmed ones HIA is calling everyone to act jointly! Our local partner asked for help and as a respond to this call HIA is strating a fundraising.

In cooperation with its local partner - the Lebanese Armenian Church - HIA will use the donations for aid like food and water supply and to help the temporary accomodation of people who lost their homes. On a long term the aim is to rebuild the destroyed buildings.

Former assistance in Lebanon

Within Hungary Helps programme, only a few weeks ago HIA and the Armenian Apostolic Church in Lebanon managed to distribute hygiene and food packages for more than 600 families in need.
