Since its foundation, our organization has involved thousands of volunteers in its work. In our day-to-day activities, the dedicated work of our volunteers is essential: in the relief work provided in crisis situations, in fundraising and awareness-raising, at various events, in supporting our social work and in other areas.
HIA community's largest group is built up from our donors. Their moral and financial support enables our organization to help more people in need and to provide even more support effectively.
The proof of our transparent, ethical fundraising activity is the fact that more than 10 000 donors find it worthwhile to support our goals and activities on a regular basis.
The Hungarian Interchurch Aid was founded in 1991 by Hungarian historical Protestant and Orthodox churches to provide professional assistance as the “churches’ outstretched arm” to those in need.
