Solidarity with victims of floods in Northern Italy
3 million HUF has been allocated towards the relief of flood victims in Forli, Italy
The “flood of the century” in Italy has caused unprecedented devastation in the north of the country. Days of heavy rainfall have resulted in massive torrents flooding cities, which has forced more than 10,000 people to flee their homes, leaving many missing and many dead.
In solidarity with the victims and those who are helping them in their struggle, Hungarian Interchurch Aid is transferring 3 million forints as emergency aid to support the community of Forli, a flood-affected city.
