This ACT Alliance Rapid Response Fund project provided assistance to the people displaced by the September 2022 Tajik-Kyrgyz border clashes. Insan-Leilek Foundation – Kyrgyz partner of Hungarian Interchurch Aid – distributed winter parcels (heaters, blankets, electric stoves, teapots, thermoses) and warm winter clothing to 200 families living in the unstable region. The programme has also trained 30 social workers in psychosocial support for victims of violent conflict. These social workers will provide one-to-one counselling to the people who became victims of the clashes, losing their homes to the cross-border violence.
