HIA has started the implementation of a two-year-long project that is co-funded by the European Union: it intends to respond to health needs of families with new born and small children (0-3 years) living in Berehove city and Beregovo district. In partnership with the ADVANCE Transcarpathian Advocacy and Development Center, HIA is providing counselling in the most disadvantaged settlements of the region.
Within the project, HIA is developing the services of three Sure Start Centers in Hungary: we provided the Sure Start Children’s Home in Boldogkőújfalu, Olaszliszka and Szendrő with medical equipments like breathing monitor, ultrasound inhaler, digital scale for kids, baby-minder and steam sterilizer devices. The capacity building and the development of the offered services are ensured by this donation which is supporting the aims of the project.
